Hi Guys. I`m suffering with tingling hands from handlebar vibration. Got some new grips to try but want some heavy bar end weights but the Renthal Fatbars have smaller inner bore than normal bars. And struggling to find any to fit in my local shops.
Has anyone found any heavy ones that fit ?
Only had the bike just over a week and been away from road bikes for over 20 years so finding my feet again.
Cheers
Chris

i read before if you get two shotgun cartridges and filled each handlebar end with the shot .it stopped the vibration, you would need to plug the ends and so far up inside the bars too , silicone was mentioned , there is a thing made for it cant think of the name but think it was called a bar snake lol

it is a bar snake You are not allowed to view links.

Looks like Bunns old bike .. I'm sure he didnt suffer from vibrations ... maybe the previous owner to you has done something or let something go loose.... maybe check the engine mounts  Bigthumb

Try filling it with sand or lead shot as has been said Bigthumb

Yes you`re right, it is Dave Bunn`s old bike. I bought it from the guy who owned it for the last year.
Ive found some reasonably heavy bar end weights that fit Renthals. So will give those ago when they arrive.

Ive checked over the bike and haven`t found anything loose or untoward. It might be me who is feeling the vibration more than others as I do suffer with Carpal tunnel syndrome sometimes.

My next issue is the chain rubbing on the rear tyre. Im checking the allignment of the sprockets at the moment. And have seen quite a bit posted on this matter already, which I will have a good read of shortly.

Hopefully the weights youve found will sort it but KTM also do a variety of bar end weights that should fit if you need further experimentation  Bigthumb

Head races that are overtightened can pass more vibrations through the bars worsening arm pump  Bigthumb

Hi great looking r30.. if the rear tyre is the bigger lower profile as specified by the guys here the chain should not rub but will be very tight fit. Check wheel alignment and chain tension. Mine was rubbing against the tyre a few days ago,so i adjusted alignment and tensioned chain, it now misses by about 1mm sometimes.  Thud

I think my slack chain was flipping sideways on to the tyre. Argue
